Alaska InvestNet (AIN) is a membership organization of successful entrepreneurs, retired executives and other business leaders who provide investment capital, strategic advice and mentoring to early-stage companies to help them achieve market leadership. With extensive experience in a variety of industries and a passion for fueling positive changes in our economy, our network includes investors from venture capital firms, members of existing angel groups and novice investors looking to benefit from participating in a group effort.

AIN facilitates the introduction of growing companies to potential investors through venture forums, business plan competitions and other mechanisms. Our focus is on potential investments that would create wealth and jobs in the State of Alaska. Typically, the companies AIN hosts are early-stage, high-growth opportunities that utilize proprietary technologies and have the possibility for a global market reach. Potential members must be accredited or qualified investors and should have prior experience in the private equity markets or a strong desire, willingness and capability to learn substantive components of the private equity markets.

AIN provides its members access to a steady flow of promising entrepreneurs looking for “risk” capital - venture financing which might not normally be available through traditional lending sources. The ultimate goal is to fuel the growth of new companies in Alaska while helping investors find high quality opportunities in the high risk/high return private equity markets.
